Who we are?
Our story began in Keelakurichi, a small village and then home to our Chairman Mr. V. Kannaiyan. The early struggles, an unavoidable part of daily life in this largely uneducated community, left a strong resolve in him to do something good in a big way. He went on to build an empire in civil and road construction engineering and dedicated it to serve the community. Thus was born Velan Group of Companies.
Velan Speciality Hospitals, Tiruchirapalli is the beginning of a longer journey and a continuation of that very same commitment. The purpose, to make global standard healthcare easily accessible to the masses. It was jointly begun by life partners Dr Rajavel and Dr. Thembavani along with Dr Rajavel's sister, Dr Akila.
We are a 60-bed international standard centre of care with the ethos of a neighbourhood family doctor. We have a dedicated group of specialist doctors and patient care personnel who work together to offer 360 * care—from consultation and diagnosis to treatment and rehabilitation.
Our Vision
