Dr Guruprasath did his undergraduation from Stanley Medical College, Chennai and Master of Surgery from Govt Medical College, Mysore. He has a Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery from Govt MGR Tamilnadu Medical University, Trichy. He has a DrNB in Surgical Gastroenterology from Kerala Institute of Medical Sciences, Trivandrum.
He specialises in Liver, Pancreas, Biliary Tract (Bile duct, Gallbladder) surgery and Liver Transplant. He is also an expert in Advanced Laparoscopic surgeries and Gastrointestinal Cancers.
He is currently Assistant Professor in Dept of Surgical Gastroenterology at Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Medical College and Hospital, Perambalur. Consultant in Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary surgery & Liver Transplant and GI Surgery at Apollo Hospitals Trichy.
