Dr Senthil Kumar did his undergraduation from Govt Mohan Kumaramangalam Medical College Salem and his postgraduation with Pediatrics as his specialty from Tirunelveli Govt. Medical College. He has a PGPN in pediatric nutrition.
He has around 7 years of UG and PG teaching experience. He has given several talks for IAP and other vaccination forums. He takes an active interest in vaccination drives and promotions. He has lectured on lactation management in south zone PEDICON, been speaker at IAP RACE ( regional advances in clinical education) and has given AIR talks on national rural health mission program. He is a recipient of best doctor award from district collector tiruvannamalai in 2008 for exemplary service. He holds a certificate of appreciation from. District collector Trichy for service during Dengue outbreak 2018.
